Mounting and tanning of your hunting trophies is another service we offer: our taxidermists are Botswana citizens, with a natural knowledge and inclination in colours and positions of our Botswana mammals.

If you need some advise on respectable taxidermists, please let us know. We have working relationships with all the major and better taxidermists worldwide : if you are unsure of where you’d like us to ship your trophies, we can still consign your shipment to a clearing agent, so that by the time your shipment arrives in the US or Europe you will most likely have decided on a suitable taxidermist and the clearing agent can forward the shipment to them, with the least amount of trouble and expense.

INSURANCE
MOCHABA does not carry any liability on trophy handling or shipping: In Transit Insurance can be arranged, upon request, and cover placed on your declared value. Insurance for In Transit Risks is expensive due to the nature of the product being shipped: this is a purely personal decision – airlines will rarely pay out on any loss or damage. Generally, insurance premiums are calculated at 3.5% of your declared value. Cover is placed prior to shipping, as are Premiums, and we’ll invoice you for this service and send you a copy of the Cover Note.
