Steve Smith – born in Zambia and has been based in Botswana. Steve’s expertise is in transportation, with extensive experience in road and air transportation within the region and internationally. Married with 3 children, Sean, Caitlin and Loryn, Steve lives in Francistown.

Debbie Peake – Kenyan-born and raised, Debbie has been in Botswana since 1983 – Neville and Debbie started Safari Services in 1987 handling all trophy shipments for Hunters Africa, contracting to all the major outfitters to provide dipping and packing services. Taxidermy and trophy handling came very naturally to Neville, who managed Hunters Africa and was a Botswana licenced professional hunter, and upon his death in 1996, Debbie continued the business and harnessed Steve Smith with his knowledge and experience in transportation to create Mochaba. Debbie lives in Maun, with her two boys, Richard and Gareth.

Mochaba is located in Maun, approx 8 kms north east of Maun town centre. Mochaba’s policy is to employ Botswana citizens in all levels of staffing: handling exports is Forrest Ruthenburg who has been with Debbie since 1988 and is considered part of her family. Becky Collins handles administration of files and shipments. In the Accounts Department is Jossie Engelbrecht who has spent many years in the safari business and knows the business inside out.
